On the Verge of Summer
I love summer. I love it when you can smell it in the air and feel it in the earth. Even though it's still spring, the essence of summer can be seen when bright sunlight floods into our bedrooms and illuminates the walls. Summer is a time when anything can happen, dreams can come true, and true love can blossom like the vibrant wildflowers. Until it's here, we can always pretend cant we?

Blue Sky Day
The sky was absolutely beautiful today during one of our many spring photo shoots. There's something about blue skies and white clouds that is just breath taking.
Here's a sneak peek at one of the spring dresses that will be in my shop soon!

Dreaming of the Hi life
Missing the beauty of Hawaii so much. My family and I visit Oahu each year since my dad grew up there. I love the lazy simple life of the island and feel so at home there. Can not wait to visit next winter!

The model
Today I had a lovely photo shoot with some new pieces I've collected over the past couple of months. The pictures turned out amazing! Thanks to my gorgeous model(aka sister), my shop is really coming together. We both agree that these clothes are adorable and unique. I think that's the main reason I love vintage clothing, every piece is different and interesting. Here is a sneak peek at what will be coming soon to my Etsy store...

Shopping has its luxuries
These are some of the most awesome and comfy chairs EVER! I got to try them out while shopping on Filmore St. in San Fran. They are actually made out of stretchy, bungee- like cords that support your back. I was surprised by how much I loved these chairs...but they were seriously awesome :)

FOOD.
I admit it... I love food. Food is great, and some of the best you can find at the burger place, In n' Out. Their burgers are amazing, and their chocolate shakes are delicious. My family can never pass by an In n' Out without totally devouring a burger. On our last road trip to Cali we ate there twice...In n' Out is good because it's just simple, basic burgers, cheese burgers and shakes. I also can't wait to go to the Shake Shack when we visit NYC this summer. I hear they have awesome food too. Yummmmm!

Home on wheels
We just got back from our camping trip to Malin, Oregon. We went for a swim meet, and discovered how tiny the city really is. The population is something like 950 people in all, which is definitely crazy. The town of Malin is very vintage looking, which my family is into, hence our 1964 Aristocrat trailer (which, may I add, is 14 feet long including a bathroom with a shower). Someday we hope to completely re-do the trailer and paint the outside two toned with a retro color. This is our home on wheels!

YES!
Im so happy!!! Today I sold my first bathing suit EVER on Etsy. And guess who bought it? None other than Nanette Lapore, the famous clothing designer! The only bummor is I had the suit listed on my moms Etsy store, http://www.etsy.com/shop/VintageUrbanRenewal (which by the way has a 20% off summer sale going on now). The bathing suit that she bought was actually an 80s floral monokini, that might I say was very interesting. It was extremely high cut, but also very cute. Who knows, maybe Nanette Lapore will come out with 80s inspired swimwear thanks to me! Stay on the lookout for my shop opening soon!

The start of something new
This summer I decided to do some things I have never done before. The first was swim team (which by the way is not an easy thing) and the second was opening an online store on Etsy where I sell vintage. Well, actually at the moment my shop doesn't have anything in it that's for sale, but not to worry, it will soon be up and running!...Hopefully. I have wanted to open a shop on Etsy for a long time, but now that school is finally out I actually have TIME to work on it. I hope all goes well and I get some awesome vintage pieces in my store soon!
